Stanstead Hall Camping and B & B
A very warm welcome to Stanstead Hall Farm CL. We are situated approximately 6 miles from Stowmarket, just outside the
village of Hitcham in the lovely Suffolk countryside. The camping is approached down a long drive of about 400 yards,
leading to the farm gate and the camping field which overlooks our pond and wheat / barley fields.
My name is Sue and I live at the farm house and my daughter Jo also lives on the farm. We have been open for a number of
years and have shower / toilet facilities with an eco chemical disposal point. There are no fixed pitches on our open camping
area, however there are plenty of electric hookups and hard standing is available. We can supply additional cable if required.
We have no immediate neighbours so you can be assured of a quiet location. We would point out however that you may get
an occasional visit from our small family of geese, Poppy the labrador, the farm cats and maybe the odd chicken. Fear not
however as they have all been primed to look after your welfare whilst staying with us! Dogs are welcome and walks are
available, however as we are a working farm and mainly for safety considerations, we can only accommodate adult campers.
Local historical sites are easily reached by car or bicycle. The countryside is ideal for cycling holidays with plenty of birds and
wildlife on your doorstep.
Farm produce may be purchased when available, please see information on the campsite notice board.
